Service Description: Data made available in this service include all the tracts and management units from the Kansas University Field Station (KUFS)

Nelson Environmental Study Area, Rockefeller Experimental, Fitch Natural History Reservation, McColl Nature Reserve, Oakridge Reserve, Robinson, Medicinal Plant Garden, Baldwin Woods, Hall Nature Reserve, Anderson County Prairie Preserve.
The Field Station, established in 1947, protects wildlife habitat, preserves remnants of native prairie and old-growth forest, and serves as a living laboratory. It serves as site for a variety of KU student academic projects in the sciences, arts, humanities and professional schools.
